Stars confirmed for Celebrity Cricket Challenge
Mace Group's Celebrity Cricket Challenge, in aid of WaterAid, is due to storm the BritOval on Friday 24 July.
The event will see the UK water industry take on the infamous Bunburys – the world's number one celebrity cricket team.
The Bunburys, founded by David English MBE, include personalities such as Rory Bremner, Eric Clapton and Ian Botham among many other famous cricketers and sporting celebrities. Mark Ramprakash (well known cricketer and winner of Strictly Come Dancing) will also be attending on the day!
Following the successful Mace and WaterAid cricket event at the BritOval in 2007, this year we are hoping to do even better. Companies tacking part include Thames Water, Scottish Water and Three Valleys Water.
The teams will consist of six players who will play three games each throughout the day, with the winning team playing against a full Bunburys team for the trophy, all in aid of WaterAid.
All cricket fans and WaterAid supporters are invited to come and watch the action for a small suggested minimum donation of £5 at the door.
Team Entry costs £6,000
Sponsorship packages available from 2k - 5k
Corporate spectator packages from 200 per person
Individual spectator packages £20 per person
